Guild Rules and Guidelines

1. No breaking of any of the Rules of Tibia (see Tibia Guide for details).

2. No bidding on a house if it will be against another Discordian, without first consulting them.

3. No thieving from or harassing/insulting behaviour towards anyone, especially another Discordian.

4. All conflicts with another member should be taken outside of Guild Chat and into private message. If you are unable to resolve the issue, then ask a Wise and Impartial Discordian (if one is around! preferably the leader or Episkopos) to help mediate the conflict so that you may come to a resolution. If this fails, and only if, then you should take it to the guild forum for all to help with.

5. No eating Watermelons on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

6. No tossing of money into ponds or wishing wells on a Full Moon, as this is considered bad luck.

7. Absolutely under no circumstances should you ask any Discordian for any Hot-Dog Buns!

8. No rule can be created which circumvents or breaks any of the above rules, unless it is done in a very skilled and devious manner which escapes detection.

Breaking any of these Rules is considered Taboo (ssshhh!) and may incur the Full Wrath of Eris(tm). These rules exist only to maintain balance between Order and Disorder and are optional but if you break them and create Disorder within the guild, don't expect to stick around in LoDD for very long.

 

Guidelines

You are encouraged to keep Guild Chat open at all times and to check the Guild Forum, posting if you feel necessary. We are a democratic guild and vote on almost everything so your voice counts but only if you speak up and be heard!

Try and respect and honor the different opinions of your fellow Discordians, who are likely just as weird and wacky as you are!

The Vice leaders (Episkopos) and Leader are there purely to keep the guild from disbanding. They will not and should not order you to do anything you don't agree with. We try to be different from every other guild in this way and stop short of being pure anarchists only long enough to keep conflicts from hurting others. Those in a position of perceived authority exist to maintain a balance between Order and Disorder; not to impose needless Order or rule over you!

Always remember that you are an individual and your own opinion is encouraged. This is what Discordia is all about.

Above all else, try to have fun! Encourage one another in your pursuits for a greater understanding and accomplishment during your time within LoDD. I believe that only through laughter can we find a sense of freedom :-)
